Program Update

The WII-STEP pilot was set up to run through to May 2012 and will officially end on May 31st.  At this time, there are not enough resources allocated to support the continuation of the pilot.  The program is currently under evaluation. While the outcome of the evaluation process is unknown, lessons learned through this pilot will be beneficial for future programs of similar nature.

Even though the focus will not be taking on new clients, Employment Specialists will continue to facilitate the process until May 31, while ensuring a smooth transition after the pilot by referring employers and candidates to other agencies that work with people with disabilities.
